Epoxy Finishes
An epoxy coating that is applied to a concrete surface (base) is a great option when looking for a tough, durable and aesthetically pleasing floor. The combination of resins and hardeners that create a chemical bond with concrete as well as the large range of decorative options render epoxy floors in a class of their own.

The 3 layer approach of these epoxy floors consists of the following:
-
A Scraping or Primer Layer
-
Self Leveling Layer
-
Finishing Layer
The Primer or Scraping layer is used on porous substrates (bases), these include cement screed, a mostly level substrate is required here. In industrial spaces, it is possible to skip this layer as aesthetics may not be of such high importance.

Epoxy floors are suitable for:
-
Laboratories
-
Warehouses
-
Workshops
-
Shops
-
Showrooms
They are great in the commercial and industrial space but also a great option in the residential space.
